How to Install an Iron Door

Step 1: Cleaning and Measurement
Before commencing the installation of the double iron door, it is essential to clean the area and measure the opening accurately. Ensure the space is debris-free and leveled. Use a tape measure to measure the opening, verifying dimensions to ensure the frame fits correctly.

Step 2: Removal of Glass Carefully remove the glass of the iron door to prepare the space for the installation. Store them securely for later reinstallation.

Step 3: Leveling and Positioning the Frame Place the frame in the opening, using a level to ensure it is perfectly leveled. Adjust the position as needed. Once satisfied with the alignment, screw one side of the frame to hold it in place temporarily.

Step 4: Initial Mounting of Doors With the frame secured, proceed to mount the doors on the screwed side of the frame. Do this cautiously to ensure the doors are leveled and aligned. This step allows you to check if the doors are even and make adjustments if necessary before the final fixation.

Step 5: Adjustments and Review Disassemble the doors if adjustments are necessary. Ensure the doors open and close smoothly, and are aligned correctly. Make any necessary adjustments to the frame or doors to ensure optimal functionality.

Step 6: Final Fixation of the Frame and Door Mounting Once satisfied with the position and alignment, disassemble the doors and securely fix the frame by screwing the remaining sides. Reassemble the doors carefully, ensuring they are perfectly aligned.

Step 7: Window Installation and Lock Placement Reinstall the windows previously removed. Ensure they are well-fitted and leveled. Then, install the locks on the doors, ensuring the locking mechanism functions correctly.
